Throughout the first quarter of 2023, the top five social apps in Cyprus on a unified platform exhibited notable trends in downloads and revenue, as reported by Sensor Tower.

TikTok from TikTok Pte. Ltd. experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, beginning the quarter with approximately $24.7K and peaking mid-January at around $25.5K. By the end of March, revenue had declined to roughly $17.7K. Weekly downloads for TikTok varied, starting at 4.6K in late December, reaching a high of 5.3K in mid-February, and ending the quarter with 3.6K downloads.

Instagram from Meta Platforms, Inc. saw its weekly revenue peak at $125 in early January but faced a dip to $41 by mid-March before recovering to $117 by the end of the quarter. Weekly downloads for Instagram ranged from a low of 2.6K in late February to a high of 3.5K in late December, closing the quarter at 2.7K.

Facebook, also from Meta Platforms, Inc., maintained relatively stable weekly downloads, starting at 2.4K and peaking at 2.6K in mid-March. Revenue for Facebook was highest in late December at $452 and saw a notable increase to $352 by the end of March.

X from X Corp. had a significant surge in weekly revenue, especially in early March when it reached $555. However, this figure dropped to $150 by the end of the quarter. Weekly downloads for X peaked at 2.7K in early February and ended the quarter with 1.5K.

OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative from Video Chat Alternative saw consistent weekly downloads, starting at 591 in late December and peaking at 809 in mid-March, finishing the quarter with 701 downloads. The app's revenue was highest at $485 in early January, ending at $314 by the end of March.
